we started a unit on puff pastry today, but it takes a while to make puff pastry, so while we waited we made a tomato tart. it is kind of like a tomato sauce quiche. it was mostly good, but a little weird.
it looks especially fancy on that paper plate.
Cheese Straws
we made these from the puff pastry. delicious. puff pastry with parmesan, cayenne pepper, and paprika.
they were probably 18 inches long, but i had to break them to bring them home.
