the vienoisserie section has turned out, for me, to be the " but this isn't the way my mom makes it" section. and blueberry muffins happen to be my One Thing that i never ever ever like as much as blueberry muffins from home.
these muffins are made with sour cream, but are the second best blueberry muffins i have ever had. i would actually eat them, and that is really saying something.
Kugelhopf
this is austrian bowl bread. it is a cakey breakfast bread with raisins in it. it was nice and light.
Brioche
we made brioche a tete, which means brioche with a head.
you make these by making a bowling pin shape, then pulling the top of the pin through a hole in the middle of the pin and baking it in a mold.
we also made loaves. they start out as eight balls that grow together as it proofs in a loaf pan.
