and i tried to make a chocolate bow, but the paper got all stuck and the loops broke. and in the end, it just looked like this.
i liked the flowers better anyway.
i also made a chocolate box. it had trees and flowers on it. we made a lot of orange chocolate truffles and put them inside. i ate a lot of not-quite-finished truffles.
i stuck the flowers on top of the box.
and i made some leaves for the flowers.
and i took a lot of pictures because i was afraid i was going to break it before i could show anyone.
we also made a lot of candy.
these are rochers. that means rock, because they look like craggy rocks.
they are piles of roasted almonds with powdered sugar and candied orange peel all covered with milk chocolate.
i ate a lot of candy for a few days, but then there was so much chocolate that it stopped looking like food. the next thing to do was to design a chocolate candy stand using this bowl shape.
the candy stand had to have an elevation and had to hold the candy we had made (and managed not to eat).
